X4 and X4E Stiffener mods

These are in the testing phases right now.  Check out the instructions and picture below.

1. Side Frame stiffeners

For the X4E Try the M2.5 x 10mm screws through the sideframe piece, siffener, and canopy arm. (3 layers)
It should fit fine with them, but if the hole is too short use the 8mm long screws.

Use the M2.5x8 screw for the front mount of the stiffener and frame side. (2 layers)

2. Motor Stiffeners

The X4 Motor stiffener and motor plate should be CA or super glued together
because there are only 2 fastening holes. Scuff the bonding surfaces and
clean before you apply the CA. Use a flat surface and set a book or something
on top.  You can drill the two holes before or after.

The X4E does not need to be glued.  It has 4 fastening holes.  The motor mounts slots are extended at the front.

Make sure you line up the motor mount slots before drilling the holes.
Hold the stiffener plate secure for drilling. Use a drill press or cordless drill.

Drill with a 2mm or 5/64" drill bit.

Use the M2x6 screws and M2 Locknuts provided.  Screws can fasten from either side.
